The ability to "read" or search for a microchip on an animal that has been found by a dog warden for example quite literally on the street or in a field will revolutionise the time in which an animal can be returned to its correct owner with the possibility that it may not even have to be taken to a shelter.

The unique microchip look up service within AniLog ensures that if an animal is registered the owner can be contacted by the dog warden or animal welfare organisation after it has been scanned by the RFID reader and the owner can collect their pet in situ.

This has the potenial for significant finacial savings for council's.
